Go for the chop: Full Fringe

Go for the chop: Full Fringe

Want a change of hair but too afraid to change anything drastic? The full fringe trend is back with a vengeance. Full fringes completely transform your look and look totally cute on anyone! Make an instant style statement and go for the chop!

When going for the full fringe cut, consider your face shape, if you have a long face, a full fringe will diminish the length of your face. Typically a long face has a high forehead and when a fringe covers it, the face is shortened with an illusion of more width to the face. On the other hand, if you have a round face, opt for a thinner fringe that is airy and wispy so they show more forehead, which will also add length.

Don’t think that if you go for the full fringe that is your only look, many fringes can be styled in different ways, worn to the side, centre parted, the list is endless!

Alexa Chung, Zooey Deschanel and Taylor Swift, just to name a couple all look stunning with their full fringe cuts. All with different style of hair just shows a fringe can look beautiful with any length, texture or colour of hair.

Full fringes can quite high maintenance, (especially if your hair grows fast!) but take it from me, be careful if you dare to trim your fringe yourself, most salons offer fringe trims for a couple of pounds, so if you feel nervous when going for the scissors, don’t risk it!
